Terms of Service

By accessing or using Menutes (the “Service”), operated by AI Eesti OÜ (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Menutes is an AI-powered meeting transcription and summarization platform. The Service records in-person conversations, generates transcripts and summaries using artificial intelligence, and optionally integrates with your calendar (Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook) and team collaboration tools.

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree not to:

• Record conversations without the knowledge and consent of all participants. You are solely responsible for complying with recording consent laws in your jurisdiction. Many jurisdictions require consent from all parties being recorded. Failure to obtain required consent may result in civil or criminal liability.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or any related systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent.

• Menutes offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis.
• Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect the current billing cycle.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

You retain ownership of all content you create or upload through the Service, including voice recordings, transcripts, and meeting data (“Your Content”).

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and consents to record and process conversations through the Service.

The Service, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by AI Eesti OÜ and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.

Transcripts, summaries, and other outputs generated by the Service's AI are provided on an “as-is” basis. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should review AI outputs before relying on them for important decisions.

Menutes does not make automated decisions with legal or significant effects based on AI outputs. Transcripts and summaries are informational tools and should not be used as sole evidence in legal, disciplinary, or employment proceedings.

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and Stripe. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated transcripts or summaries.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AI EESTI OÜ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total cumulative liability for all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

These limitations do not apply to liability arising from breaches of data protection obligations under applicable law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature within the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Pärnu, Estonia.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may seek out-of-court dispute resolution through your national alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body. A directory of ADR bodies is available at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through the Service or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
